ghosting crushes after finding out if they only see you as a good friend or are into someone else definitely hits different. If you had a agenda to know someone as more than a friend then that's ok. Your life, their life. No need to linger to have the 'hope' that you'll get a chance with them. They ask you why you ignoring them? No need tell them as they genuinely had no interest into getting to know you in a deeper level in the first place.
