I've eaten watermelon all my life and have never gotten a migraine after eating it. Red wine? That's a different story.

Fortunately I don’t get migraines because watermelon is one of my favourite fruits. It’s not in season here in Australia now but thanks, I’m craving one right now! I did see them last time I was in the fruit and vege shop but I really only buy them in summer. Very refreshing. Nothing beats it on a really hot day.

Thank you for the information!

Thank you, as usual very informative🙏
Sorry for those who get migraines after eating watermelon, I simply adore this heavenly fruit and cannot live without it… I call it ‘happiness fruit’ !!!

I love this channel! The fact that we don't have more viewers is a direct result of people being fat and sick. Fast food is going to cure our energy crisis by curing our population crisis.

Watermelon is also good for raising nitric oxide levels that are helpful for men who have ED. I don’t know why she doesn’t mention that.

I'm not an authority of how watermelons are grown but the headaches could be caused by pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. I don't recall ever seeing an organic watermelon in the supermarkets that sell organic produce. Or the headaches could be caused by eating ice cold watermelon.

Hi everyone, I eat watermelon rind also. It's good to add to smoothies, or to grind and use as a preserve. I have yet to preserve watermelon rinds or make jam but it sounds delicious. Have a great healthy, and happy day.

Great tidbit about headaches from eating watermelon. Too bad for people who are sensitive to watermelon, but my wife and I love eating lots of watermelon!

I was hospitalized 3 consecutive times with bleeding ulcers after eating watermelon in Boston. I have since eaten watermelon in other locations with no problem. Apparently those I ate in Boston were contaminated with h.pylori due to where they were grown.

So, why can't I find watermelon with seeds in US? They taste better and that's how plants were designed.

I'm a migraine sufferer but thankfully haven't had an attack after eating watermelon. I love watermelon. This video made me wonder if the effect (or the cause of the effect) is similar to how nitroglycerin can cause headaches?

Watermelon is associated with better performance at the gym and in the bedroom, reason being that it contains L-Argenine which is a precursor of L-Citrulline, which in turn converts to the wonder molecule called Nitric Oxide - that allows for your blood arteries to dilate!
BTW if you're eating watermelon to achieve these benefits - know that most L-Argenine is present in the rind. Personally I'd rather consume that part of the watermelon pickled or as a jam, as alas it's not nearly as tasty as the red juicy part.
