As a game developer, I can't wait to upgrade from my M2 to M4. Those single core performance boosts really matter to me while compiling code in Unity, it just makes the IDE to Unity back and forth feel so much better.

M1 MacBook Air user here running a triple monitor set up daily. All you need is a display link adapter, and you’re set – had I purchased an adapter with even more ports, I could get even more monitors, and the max I’ve gotten including the internal display (not counting Sidecar, an Android tablet via Duet Display, and another display via AirPlay just for proof-of-concept) is four.

To be honest, I develop games and my 16" Macbook m1 max is still satisfying my needs 100%. That thing is a beast! I think I can still use it for at least 2 years.
