As an engineer who works in the semiconductor industry in Silicon Valley, I can say that it is inconceivable that legitimate images of the layout of the M4 SOC would ever be leaked by an engineer - especially an Apple engineer.

I have to applaud Apple for the Apple Silicon Generation. I am on my 16-inch M1 Max, and this thing hasn't slowed down at all. It is one of the best products I've owned.

I have the M1 Pro, I don't feel like this thing is slow at all, except when I scroll down on Facebook for a while, it starts slowing down and takes a second or two to play videos. Usually reviewers test browser speed using speedometer or some other benchmark, or opening static websites, but that doesn't mach the sad reality of how slow it gets when scrolling on Facebook. Or maybe I have an extension screwing me.

I'm just waiting to hear about the M4 pro chip specs. It's crazy that we haven't heard basically anything yet if apple is supposedly having their event this month. Last year we heard tons of rumors on the high end laptops a few months before they came out at the end of October in 2023. Also, does this mean we'll get 32 gigs of RAM for the high end models? They put it up to 18 gigs of Ram last year and surely wouldn't drop it back down to 16 now that the entry MBP is being brought up to 16 gigs of Ram.
