This is the gaming Mac. Finally. Sheesh, it took a long enough time, but this is why Apple dumped scads of money on the Blender Foundation. "Fix the graphics!" Apple said. Blender said, "Here ya go." a week later. Then TSMC said, "Oh shoot, we got new stuff for you." Three times they said this. Actually, they have another idea, 2nm, but apparently Apple said, "Not yet, ship the M4 already!" and off she goes.

there is no problems with the current macbook pro design. maybe a little heavy pending which model. but they are still the best on the market, especially if you are like me and are not a gamer

M4 iPad pro has 10 core CPU, 4P+6E for 1 TB version. I believe that will come to M4 MacBook Pro not the binned 9 Core version which you get on 256/512GB iPad Pro.

Gonna be keeping my M2 Max 16" MBP until they upgrade to Tandem OLED as that is all I really care about tbh. The performance on my M2 Max is insane and while the MiniLED ProMotion screen is amazing I would upgrade if/when they go with a screen as good as in the iPad Pro M4 whether that be next year or 2026. Think I will also drop down to a 14" too unless they really work some magic with the thickness of these devices. My only real complaint about my 16" MBP is it is a chonker. I actually have an M3 MacBook Air that I use for visiting clients as it is just so much more comfortable to travel with and is still plenty powerful enough for on the go work. I only really need the higher level of performance when working in my office where it is hooked up to a monitor 99% of the time anyway. I should probably go with a Mac Mini but they don't offer the specs I need annoyingly and the Mac Studio is too overpriced with little performance difference and I totally lose all portability options with it so the 16" MBP is the best overall option for me currently. If they were to release a Mac Mini with the option to put 128GB RAM and the Max CPU in it I would for sure get that over a new MBP but I can't see that happening as I am sure many would do the same as me and get that over a MBP 😁
