Just goes to show how important proper driving lessons with a good instructor are. Family / friends may have a license but that doesn’t mean they’re able to teach you properly

It was a very interesting video, because it's quite impressive how easily and confidently Rumman is driving already. It's obvious that the mirror checks and being way more aware of his surroundings generally is his only real issue at this point and that it results from his lack of contact with a professional instructor. But while this shortcoming might take some time to fully eradicate right now -- because he seems to already be driving quite instinctively and by habits -- I'm quite sure he will make a very good and safe driver in the end.

Mirror checking isn’t just one of them things you do in lessons that you don’t do when you finally pass, it is vital you check and check properly, it’s a simple thing to do that could be the difference between driving safety or causing a serious incident that could have easily been prevented

In general this learner isn’t to bad at all, confidence seems to shine though and throughout this lesson I thought he was consistent.
Unfortunately the biggest missing ingredient was he failed to use his mirrors which are vital in day to day driving
It’s almost like the learner had tunnel vision and nothing to his left or right was that important.
Bit more practice and he will be on his way to getting his all important License.

Damn girl, I've never seen you so mad! 😂 We were all dying the entire time he wasn't checking his mirrors. This is why you should never learn from family/friends only, although he does drive ok however he learned a bad habit from them and that was not checking mirrors and blindspots.

He is able to drive confidently without mirror checks properly after only private lessons... practice makes perfect. I'm sure he had lots of practices with his own car to build up his confidence, he just needs to check mirrors as often as possible now!
