Yup, procrastination. My arch nemesis. Something I need to tackle head on and finally deal with. It is time to wage war on my procrastination habits, and learn how to overcome it. This video is what I need to get on with just that. I'm feeling positive that I can finally put procrastination behind me, and move forward with my life. It would be a lot of weight off of my shoulders if I can do this. Thanks for posting and sharing.

Procrastination is dumping your responsibilities on your future self. See your future self as a seperate being whose time, money and energy you have to take into account when making decisions, and it will be easier to let go of the habit to procrastinate. I hope this advice was of service to people <3

I didn't know that what I was doing is called productive procrastination, and I didn't know such thing exists. Instead of doing urgent tasks, I do other things considered to be productive for me to feel good about myself accomplishing something despite not doing the tasks I really needed to do. Thankfully I found this video, it has given me a lot of insight on how to combat procrastination!

Good video. To recognize that fear is behind most procastination is important.
Knowing the enemy is important to fight it.
To me it would seem procastination is not just about fear though, but also about good old laziness.
When I try to analyze my thoughts when procastinating something it seems to be either a fear of failure, which makes me avoid it.
Alternatively, I think that "oh, that is so much to do and it will be physically and mentally hard, so I better just sit here in the couch feeling better instead."
Or I start to think for myself "Is that really important after all? Most things in life does not matter anyway when you are dead after a 100 years, so why bother ?"

In the end it is different kind of feelings stopping me, but it is not just fear.

Here's my quick suggestion,
Can you make a video about instant gratification? or maybe about envying someone? I'm currently struggling with these things and it's a bit of related into each other.

One tips : the fear triggering the fight or flight response resulting in procrastination could be due to a feeling that your situation uncontrollable. So Do something that make you feel safe. Eg listening to music ( eg hymns) that put you in a calm state instantly.
