Edit: I apologize for causing some confusion about Fact #22. I forgot to mention that this glitch does not work on the current steampipe build of the game. Not because they patched it, but they actually broke the code that detects out of bounds props. So there's that I guess.

Seeing all of these little things like "this camera does/doesn't have the portal trigger" or "this cube doesn't have the Delete flag when out of bounds" makes me so thankful for prefabs when working in Unity lmao

0:35 You can actually reach that pre-existing collision and place a portal on it which will make a 1 way only portal as the other side will be blocked by the panel collision

Thank you so much for the followup vid, your original 50 things was just as FACINATING due to the obscure trivia about a game I thought I knew inside and out. It would be unfair to ask you to cover Half Life 2 (especially since you're a PORTAL youtuber) but I'm dying to know if there's anything left to uncover that I don't already know lol

Trying to post a comment for the THIRD TIME since Youtube's absurd algos are marking me as "spam or scamming practices" for literally no reason, I'm going to split this comment up a bit:
I'm shocked that I didn't know some of these things! You're spot on about Chamber 15's offset triggers. The room was originally only 7 ceiling tiles wide, as opposed to the 10 wide that it is in the final version.

I'm also shocked to see that the second orb launcher is compiled into the final map in chamber 18. *Very* very old versions of the chamber had 2 launchers, and iirc the map source has a visgroup for it.

0:50 there is a dialogue if you bring the cube past that door, and fizzle it, GLaDOs will ask you not to do that.

Unlike the first video I did know a couple of these ones. Regardless this was another great video.
I have a couple of suggestions for your Portal 2 video if you're interested.

By holding a companion cube in a certain way you can balance all gel types (including water) on top of the cubes.
You can also makes gel drops roll across the floor and stand on top of them.
If you run into them though they will pop.
