I think this is harder than just plainly memorizing it

The fact that he wrote ONLY 'B' to cheat is insanity.

Mine actually works with a place I’m unfamiliar with.

If you’ve ever seen the show Psych, my parents raised me like that. When I was 4, my dad had a 20-page book with 10 unique ghosts on each page, and then at the end he’d close the book and ask me “Where was the ghost with the hat on page 4?” So I’d have to memorize the placement of 200 ghosts. I actually notice too much now so I get distracted when I put the objects on a path I’m familiar with, because in my mind, it has to look exactly the same so room numbers, matching floor tiles, paintings, etc. have to be there or it just doesn’t work and seems like an unfamiliar space.

My current mind palace is those tubes in Chuck E. Cheese. Before that, it was the Backrooms. Liminal spaces with little detail actually help me focus on the main point more, because there isn’t much to get wrong. I’m mentally crawling around the Chuck E. Cheese Tubes in my mind palace during every physics test lol

This is good when you only need to memorise a few things and on multiple choice

Knowing my memory, I would’ve taken the wrong turn and would be in a shady neighborhood

Yeah, this truly works.
This is one of the most famous technique called "Memory palace or Mind Palace"
It is way easier than just mugging up things,
It takes usually 2 to 3 hours to make its way to ur memory, but believe me u don't even have to memorize it afterwards every now and then. It's stored for longer time period precisely!

Guys, The Loci Method is the most reliable technique when memorizing LARGER QUANTITIES like a Rubik's Cube (Doing it blindfolded), Large lists, Large set of numbers.

For example: when trying to memorize large set of numbers... I will make up letters to into specific numbers like 1 = O 2 = T 3 = R 4=A 5=B and so on.
and then, I will make words out of the letters, specifically objects/animals that I can visualize easily.

Then, I would imagine any background that I am most familiarized with, like my bedroom or living room.

And then I would put the objects I just made up in there and now it's easier to memorize said numbers

342245 will become RATTAB
so I would Imagine a rat playing with his TABlet.

Basically, its like visuallizing a story

I'm preparing for two weeks of tests starting next week, the end-of-term exam and two special exams.

I hope I can survive with your technique.
