At this point I don’t even care how good the environment looks, I wanna play an open world game that had that RDR2 feel. Everything was alive, it felt natural interacting with the world around you and you could play at whatever pace you want. The AI, the physics, the story. Ok have no doubt CDPR will make the game absolutely breathtaking. The question is if they will make it fun and engaging as the 3rd one or better better improve upon it.

I’m glad they switched engines. Red Engine just wasn’t it for Cyberpunk, and caused a bunch of issues for them. Hopefully Unreal will serve them well.

One of the many reasons Cyberpunk had so many issues and was missing so many features was as they claimed: "Due to difficulties with CDPR's in house engine." Them moving over to Unreal will at least free them from whatever limitations they were struggling with. At the very least if their next game sucks, we will know 100% that it was not the engines fault the game was missing X feature.

They've shown a lot of amazing stuff for Cyberpunk too. Remember those crowds? Yeah... I won't believe any kind of footage until it is released.

EDIT: I actually enjoyed Cyverpunk. It just wasn't what was promised and by a very large margin. As for this, I know it's not footage from an actual Witcher 4 game. But as far as I'm concern, a witcher 4 trailer or a My Little Pony Adventure trailer I don't care. They blew up any trust relationship I could have with them. CDPR's words mean nothing anymore. Have they learn? Maybe. I hope so. But they'll have to prove it through actions, not promises.

The fact that they're already making promises and marketing the living hell out of this game, which has no real release in sight should be a MASSIVE red flag. It's the same kind of scummy marketing that led up to Cyberpunk. Just my opinion, don't trust any of this tbh.

If you compare old Unreal tech demos to end-gen games they match up pretty closely, with the games surpassing the demos in many ways.

That's not Witcher 4, that level demo wasn't even made in UE5, just ported over. It was a level designed by epic in UE4 to show optimization tricks for the unreal engine community.

Oh I hope people not gonna be fooled by CDPR outlandish PR campaign like Cybershit 2077 was.
Witcher 4(?) could very well end up the same as that. Be cautious and wary of overhype.

They haven't shown anything regarding Witcher "4" yet, at all. That part they showed there? It was a sequence made by Epic Games with UE5, which CDPR took as an attempt to bait regarding having them collabing, which obviously worked.

Whether the next Witcher game will look like that we won't know for a year or two at least.
