Hey this is my Skyrim video! I have more footage of actual gameplay on my channel.

For those wondering, my PC specs are RTX 3070, 12700k and 32gb ram.

I use the modlist Nolvus as a base with Bjorn ENB. I also use DLSS to keep the framerate steady — 40 to 60fps typically. Not bad for almost 2000 mods.

I'm just really happy these mods are even possible. Being able to custom create things has always resulted in incredible things.
Just look at old Warcraft 3 custom games, they made insane RPGs, Dota obviously and Tower defense games that have resulted in SOO MANY actual big stand alone games

The Skyrim modding community is unironically next level. Their sheer dedication to a 12 year old game is ridicilous.

One aspect that has made me come back, again and again, not only to skyrim, but also to pretty much all Bethesda games, is the modding potential. Some may not understand (and it's fine), but having the ability to just modify the game either to allow for gameplay decision that you would like to have on a subjective level, or simply have a completly different experience (Because why not) is such a blast. It's like having a box of Lego or sketching tools. You can literally make whatever you want, as long as you are creative enough and that the necessary pieces/ tools (Mods) exist.

Recently videos have been circulating more of these mass overhauls of skyrim, some of them are truly incredible and have fluidity on par with games like the witcher 3 and gow. It really goes to show that if you have a solid game, releasing modding tools is one of the best ways to stay relevant.

I recently started playing it again and modded it based off of SoftGaming channel tips and I can 100% confirm that it looks and plays a hundred times better than 90% of modern games I've played. Never have I played at such high graphics so smoothly with such extremely short loading times.... It takes less than 10secs to load the entire world bro, that shit is unbelievable

At this point modmakers should combine and create Skyrim 2 by themselves. I think they are more then capable of doing this

This might be an extreme example requiring high end hardware but even the most basic of lighting/weather/texture mods can make the game seem night and day to the vanilla release
