The game may not be amazing but it was 8 hours of fun. Got it for free from a gaming magazine and had a blast with it.

To be fair, the Deadpool videogame is *wild* with its humor. This is pretty tame all things considered.

Deadpool is unironically one of the greatest videogame/adaptation of a comicbook character ever made. This also still doesn't compare to Deadpool and his entourage of Gwen Stacy clones that he has literally doing his every bidding, or seeing clones of Aunt May and Uncle Ben butt ass naked IN THE SAME BOOK.

Most people probably don't know but Rogue and Deadpool were actually a cannon relationship in the comics. And this game was based on them.

The gameplay absolutely did not suck it was amazing

Those were critically acclaimed for months after release. The Deadpool game, like its movies later, were considered fresh air, and how gaming was supposed to be in an environment of bland releases and game studios that didn't care.

It's rather ironic / prophetic that anyone would look back on them today.

The gameplay was so-so and the enemy variety was abysmal, but I had tons of fun with this game. Funny as hell. Its criminal we never got a sequel.

The gunplay, teleporting and death animations were all top tier. Some people just love to hate. Same dude is probably queued up in Bronze League right now
