All of your tutorials are so awesome, you've been helping me a lot with creative expression, thank you! Also I never knew about Krita, really happy to finally have something to replace GIMP

I'm going to have to watch this multiple times it's so info dense. So helpful! You already taught me things that will save me so much time! Thank you!

That seamless feature on Krita is very useful! Surprised Photoshop didn't have that.😁

Great Tutorial, hopefully your Udemy is a bit more refined in that you actually highlight the aspects you change that you just simply skim over in the free versions, for example the minor settings you just ignore after you made changes, such as the reversal of the laser beam for one. otherwise, this is still super helpful and to be expected for a free tutorial I guess.

9:37 Also, to access the shader, you must enable the Shader Validation checkbox in the graph settings

If your Output particle mesh has no option for Shader graph, even after checking off experimental in Preferences -> Visual effects, just press Ctrl S and save your Visual Effect and it will pop up.

Um video mais impressionante que o outro, parabéns !!!

11:00 No need to make a gradient texture; you can just use a UV + split node to get a gradient procedurally; pretty sure that would be better for performance.

How to implement laser extension in this method? Line renderer, as I understand it, cannot be used here. If you don't mind, add a video on how to implement laser extension

I am fairly certain I followed your EXACT steps throughout the whole video, yet my laser simply refuses to scroll no matter what I do, its just static. Any help?

I tried te make this tuto but when i put the plane in the output particle mesh, nothing happens

Laser Texture works and looks great without shader but when I add the laser texture to MainTex in my shader it appears as just plain white. The gradient mask appears as expected in the shader just not my laser texture..?

Great content! Subscribed instantly, i have a question how can the beam being "interrupted" when touching some objects (like being 2 meters instead of 5 for example)? And i saw your "hit" tutorial but i don't get how to spawn the hit on collision (do we have onCollision event on visual shader stuff?).
Thanks a lot, i'm considering buying your course on udemy for the great stuff!

Also one last question, i tried to change the plane with a 3D shape i made (a simple "laser" but 3D shape), but the texture is a lot streched and the result is like "some lines" running through the shape like they are streched, what i am missing?
