for anyone who doesn't see the gpuevent menu when adding the trigger event, turn it on in edit->preferences->Visual Effects->Experimental Operators/Blocks

Really appreciate your work, started learning VFX thanks to you, as a new person in VFX one of the main problems for me is setting up a scene, putting on materials, seting up global volume ... and no matter what i do Unity always brings some errors, so i think it would be really really useful for new people if there was a simple very short tutorial about setting up a scene to have a place to experiment and try different things, thank you again for all your hard work <3

Question. I don't have Triggers in Update Particle. How to enable them?

the more I see you put up things about VFX Graph the more busted and powerful the technology looks like. Also, amazing content as usual

Another nice video, Gabriel! Thank you. Can you please make special video about your scene? Like how to do that dark fog, mountains, light settings etc.
It would be very cool and useful. 🙂

Hey Gabriel, your videos help us so much, can you please make procedural water puddles? It's hard to find one without paid programs or assets

Great video! I was just wondering if this is possible in older versions of VFX Graphs. I have version 10.5.1 and i dont see the bounds mode in the initialize particle for trail. Also im stuck in the part with the cone because set Position (shape:cone) wont let me connect my cone to it.

Gabriel - you are such a fantastic teacher and your content is relevant and thorough - thanks so much for all you do. I do have a question - I am having an issue where the particles/trails are seeming to shoot out forever and the "animation" never restarts. I can compile and they'll shoot out as configured, then just continue on to infinity. I thought it had something to do with lifetime configuration but I've mirrored your instructions exactly, twice now. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks again.

Is there any way to detect collision in the particles?

Hey gabe, I was wondering if you know a solution to why my particles diapear if I look away from the gameobject that they are attached too. It kinda breaks the effect :(
