Hi my name is Danielle, welcome to my True Crime and Makeup series! I’ve been interested in true crime for the longest time now, what started with me watching true crime on TV with my Nan from a young age eventually turned into studying for a degree in Law & Criminology.

When I first watched Bailey Sarian’s series I was completely hooked, I loved how she had combined two of the things I’m most passionate about and delivered it so well. She totally inspired me to take the leap and do the same thing on my channel, so all credit for the idea goes 100% to her.

I’m from the UK and will be covering cases from both the UK and internationally, let me know if there are any cases that you’d like to see from me! More cases will be coming soon so please subscribe if you enjoyed this video!

I feel so sorry for his mom, she seems like such a caring and nice person

It baffles me every single time i see someone fail to realize there are cameras in the rooms and in the cop cars.

The way he turns it on and off when the detective came in so fast gave me second hand embarrassment

My mom home-schooled my brothers and me and it is still one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. A lot of people thought my mom couldn’t teach us well enough because she didn’t have a Bachelor’s degree or teaching qualifications, but all three of us have Bachelor’s degrees and my brother and I both have a Master’s as well.

A mother’s love is so fierce; they will stop at nothing to make sure their children have the very best. Thanks, Mom. I love you.

EDIT: All three of us siblings have master’s degrees now!

I never comment, and maybe it’s because I’m pregnant and I’m extra emotional, but, hearing you say you’ve been working so hard to make sure you had your October videos out in the middle of a move made me sad, grateful, and proud! You deserve the breaks, without any explanation needed, but just know that you’re hard work and commitment is also so appreciated and valued. Just make sure you are taking care of yourself. I love your story telling, your empathy, your respect for the victims, & your sense of humor. You deserve all the good things! Okay now off to continue watching.. 🤍

I feel so sorry for Caitlyn, she was honestly probably so happy to be sharing time with him, like they were any other siblings getting ready to go through a big change in the family like a wedding. I truly hope she doesn’t feel that everyday. I hope she was able to go on and get married.

I grew up with Dawson. This guy was a guitar prodigy and was a straight A student. This story was a huge shock to me and the community. So sad.

I would love to see you cover the story of Mary Vincent- she survived a murder attempt, faced her killer in court, and lost BOTH of her arms in the attempted murder. It’s absolutely wild!

Coming from someone who has no parents, this upsets me when ppl abuse their mom and dad. Most of us would love to have loving / caring parents or even parents at all

IMO, as someone who suffers from psychosis and delusions, he was faking. If he gradually calmed down after the officer left, I would be more inclined to believe that the stress of another person in the room was increasing his symptoms, but the fact that he just immediately stopped and started makes me think he was calculating and in control of everything he was doing. Also people seem to think that pleading not guilty by reason of insanity means that the person would just get off without any punishment, but in reality they would be sent to a mental institution for usually at least the duration of the sentence they would receive if proved “sane” and would not be released until they could prove through doctors interviews and opinions that they were no longer a threat to anybody. So it’s not like they just go home, they go to underfunded and overcrowded mental institutions for people determined to be “insane” at the time of their crimes. Not exactly a vacation.

Just paint your orange pumpkins WHITE or CREAM and add some pine cones and greenery from outside. I love doing that between Halloween and Christmas!! Congrats on your move!! ♥️

i’m an avid horror enjoyer myself and i believe the hand movements and his pattern of speech in his interview were mimicking a character from the horror movie CUBE, he does almost the exact same hand movements and uses a very similar pattern of speech to the character and it’s scary to see how much those movies affected him

This is truly a sad case. Cathleen didn't have to be taken in that way. Cathleen's family didn't have to go through this pain of losing Catheen and with Dawson's actions. People like Dawson make the whole stigma of mental health even worse. I have generalized anixety disorder, major depressive disorder as well as PTSD. But it doesn't make me a bad person or anything like that.

Dawson was DEFINITELY faking. Neurological symptoms don't just start and stop as instantly as they did when the detective entered and left the room. AND, those kinds of body movements aren't a typical symptom of a mental health issue. Sometimes antipsychotic medicine can cause body tremors, but that's a completely different thing.

Doing chores is a small price to pay for room and board... And it's interesting that he attacked his mother first when she was the one who aways had his back.

Okay, so as someone on the spectrum, I can confirm that those symptoms can kinda come and go as a reaction to stress, I do similar things when I'm in a crowded place, when I feel cornered or stressed, etc, but he really was turning it off and on. If they were genuine, he wouldn't be able to stop the second someone leaves the room.

The fact that his obsessions that kept changing is actually a symptom of his ADHD. It's pretty interesting.

...this whole case is like a point by point recreation of my biggest fears regarding my brother. Like, the whole "getting red flags" from being asked about her day and her brother doing something nice... I would be sending messages to make sure people knew this jsut happened incase I go missing... it's difficult having a sibling like that because what you know in your heart to be warning signs of danger are mostly things that people respond to with "Oh, that's so nice. maybe he just wants to get closer"
