I'm a firefighter and wanted to put in my two cents about the fire department leaving. So, we go on what's called building alarms all the time-- if the smoke detector comes on, or food is burned, or the house alarm alerts the company and no one picks up. If someone is home, no matter the smell, and they say things are ok, or its burned food, we aren't allowed in unless they ask us in or allow it. If something is really suspicious, we can call police and let them investigate, but it's outside of our parameters to just go in. There are A LOT of terrible smells we smell, so we cannot assume what it actually smelled like. Some people have chemicals in their homes, do trade work from their homes, so I can understand why they let it be. I think it might be hard for folks who don't do this job (or ones like it) to understand that part, so just wanted to put this out there. 🙂 Love your channel and stories!!! Keep up the awesome work!

20:45 forensic scientist here! burning bodies don’t smell like fish at all. it actually smells like grilled pork w a slight metallic and sweet smell. it’s very distinctive and can’t be confused w anything else. firefighters especially would know that smell, it’s very strange to me that they bought her fish story…

I remember this case! I am from Vienna and my history teacher from back then actually went to her ice cream shop frequently and even took his kids there - he was quite shocked when everything came out to say the least…

You don't feel bad for her, you fell bad for the women she says she is, by her own perspective. Remember that you will never get the perspective of the husband and the boyfriend, and of how abusive they were, you only have the version of a person that killed, burned and chopped two persons in pieces. Remember that one of them was a father, and their sons are still alive seeing people talking how much he was an asshole by his murderer perspective.

Technically it wasn't an all male prison she was moved to. She was moved to a top security prison/hospital facility not deliberately meant for any specific gender but she was the only female there at the time. Other women have since moved to this facility. Of course men and women are housed separately.

Clearly she was manipulative and just thought she could love people into doing things for her . She probably knew her ex didn’t even want kids . It’s not crappy of someone to not want to procreate . Greetings from Vienna/Austria 👋🏻 I used to go to that ice cream shop & after everything came out I avoided ice cream for a long ass time! It was so weird to know I bought ice cream in a shop where dead bodies where 😶 just creepy AF! & it's normal not to get much information because we don't even have such a system where you can look up criminals or anything because of a privacy law we have or something.
