I'm three minutes in and I think the gist of what he is saying is that it's better to be open minded and try to comprehend viewpoints that are different from your own. In addition, my thought is that, if and while we are being open minded we try to thrust our ego aside; just because we are hearing people out doesn't mean we are agreeing with them. Your just giving the other person a chance to express themself with an unbiased disposition. If we want to be heard, we must first learn to listen 🙂

I’m not a Jordan Peterson hater, I think the guy has some good value that he offers, but this video is very ironic, cause anymore Peterson in his latest public appearances is VERY defensive/aggressive. I think it’s all starting to really get to him, and he’s embracing the right a lot more. Or it could be his carnivore diet lol

THe problem with Jordan's advice is that he actually doesn't listen, he uses conversation as a weapon. Jordan is a Frasier Crane wannabe. He is an entertainer not a psychologist. Because he sells books and videos and lectures, THAT IS NOT THERAPY. He needs to address his bad conduct in courts in the case of Case 1 Sordi v. Sordi, 2009 CanLII 80104 (ON SC) he defamed a parent in court. In the case 2 R. v. Pearce, 2012 MBQB 22 (CanLII) he tried to free a murderer. Then in the case Peterson v. College of Psychologists of Ontario, 2023 ONSC 4685, he tried to avoid taking responsibility. He also tried to interfere in a family court case in Montana, the Kolstadt case, where there was a GAG order, he unprofessionally diagnosed a minor without interviews or assessments, and tried to defend unfit parents.
