Fun fact, this movie is supposedly "not" based on I Am Legend (the book). The whole post-apocalyptic wasteland, people turning into monsters but it turns out the monsters are still sapient and "humans are the real monsters", literally almost word-for-word quoting the book... definitely not based on it though.
