She was taken on a date by Kyle of DeVry Institute to an expensive restaurant in order to persuade her to open her 'wormhole' per orders of the History Channel.

Fun Fact: The idea for this scene came from how in the past, directors would always ask Portman to do sex scenes and nude scenes. Natalie Portman would always refuse and would sometimes make the director change the script to remove said scene.
