I think it was Illinois (could be wrong) that just passed a law where cops aren't allowed to lie to you anymore which is awesome. Will it actually happen? Who knows because if they do lie and you end up getting convicted by giving up information after it happens, it's probably not going to get you out of a jury conviction, but it's definitely a good step
