Registered dietitian Tracy Lockwood Beckerman is breaking down the health benefits of coffee on this episode of You Versus Food — whether it's good for you, how it could potentially be *bad* for you, and the best way to accessorize your daily coffee fix to make it healthy.

Love your coffee clip. Coffee aficionado myself, I drink an average of six small cups a day, without counting. The last one usually just before going to bed, a nice expresso. I always sleep like a baby, 8 to 9 hrs. Been doing it as long as I remember, I am 82 and I live in Belgium, cheers, Guy.

Before breakfast, I always drink black coffee in the morning, sometimes I used to add butter, cinnamon, now stopped it but never tried cocoa powder. I'll try cocoa poweder for a while before either continue or stopping it & agaim connamonI as well. I feel that we should drink black coffee or tea to enjoy the real deal out of those. Adding sugar, milk makes it something else. Thanks from Great Britain.

You didn’t talk about espresso? I have 4 espressos shots, that’s it, every morning for the last 2 years? Yes on the water tip, any negatives in the long run
