I have very very bad panic attacks after consuming anything containing caffeine
It took me almost 7y to realise this
After taking anti depreasion and benzodiazepine medicine prescribed by doctor, which therapy took me on the road to mars and back
Now i am back on earth, thanks to farewell with coffee and friends
Long live the nature

Love the doc's suggestion of water as a decaf alternative. 😅

What a shame that they didn't discuss the most popular decaf method that does not use anything but charcoal and water. Swiss Water decaf is 99.9% effective and coffee decaffinated to 0.1mg/g of regular coffee 18-22mg/g

I just received Muskoka Lumberjack swiss water decaf. This coffee is worth every penny. And it doesnt trigger any stomach issues either.

Hmmmm? questionable reporting. Did they even look at/consider the Swiss Water decaffeination process, which does not use any of those aforementioned chemicals.

I guess it’s time I call the companies and ask them if they use this solvent to extract out caffeine. Most places anyways use supercritical CO2, which is more safer than methylene chloride.

What about Swiss water method decaf why hasn’t he mentioned that?

The miniscule amount of caffeine in decaf isn't enough to bother about. Giving up the enjoyment and possible health benefits of coffee to eliminate that is silly. And virtually no methylene chloride remains in coffee after roasting and grinding. Typical quality of advice one gets from watching TV.

Drink a decaf processed using the "swiss water" method. No chemicals.

I have severe rumination (repetitive negative thoughts) if I drink caffeinated coffee.

There are also some coffee that has the caffeine extracted with a different method not involving harmful chemicals.

Caffeine isn't good in general. I prefer water over energy drinks. Same with decaff coffee, it's better than regular coffee. I try to drink regular coffee maybe once or twice a day.

Years ago Sanka said it was safe to drink their decaf as many times per day as you please.

I roast my own coffee. The decaf beans i buy have caffeine removed by the Swiss Water Process which uses no chemicals, only water. But then today's journalists only blog and do no research and as you know as info goes from one blogger to the next the information changes. The corporations that use chemical are also the ones that beat the small coffee growers down in price so they make all the profit. I buy my green beans from a supplier that deals with the growers themselves and pays them a fair price to grow quality coffee so the growers can actually make a living. But corporate America wants all the profit for themselves. That has become the AmeriKan way.

Jesus christ. Stop talking about methylene chloride and talk about decaf. Or maybe talk about things that are important. Decaf has been around and people aren't dropping dead because of that.
