Great message. I listen to your sermons and snippets and am profoundly saddened at how utterly watered down the "TedTalk sermons" I've been subject to for years have been. THIS is what a pastor is called to do: Equip the Body of Christ. Blessings.

You know, with all of our understanding of covenant bodies and headship, shouldn’t my conference ticket allow me to bring my wife as well? 🤣🤣🤣

WCF, Ch. 15, para. 5: "Men ought not to content themselves with a general repentance, but it is every man's duty to endeavour to repent of his particular sins particularly." Is our forgiveness conditioned on our doing so? Surely not, otherwise nobody would be saved--the man hasn't been born who can accurately identify and repent of every single one of his sins (other than Jesus, as he had none). Our faith and repentance (which are two sides of the same coin) are gifts from God. But our increasing recognition of, sorrow for, confession of, and repentance for our particular sins is a mark of our sanctification.
