I used my cast iron pan. Three minutes each side on the stove then into the oven. Remove it at 145 degrees.

Freezes Prime Filet Mignon. Burns oil on grill (oil has burned away at this point)... Wait.. Oils grill? What? Seasonings on it should make a perfect non-stick surface.

You can't eat a filet anything over medium rare. Its the most tender but least flavorful cut. Mark my words
