I use to suffer from low self esteem, I thought sharing it with someone could solve the problem but I was wrong. I never grew out of it until I accepted myself the way I am, made myself understand that there's absolutely no one else like the real me, and discovered the areas of my life that needs to be corrected, mapped them out and work on myself.

One thing i'd like to add and I always tell people with low self esteem is that they shouldn't see anyone as superior to them. We are all created equally for a purpose. This helps one to stop feeling less than others.
