anybody that has a GY6 leave it alone leave it stock keep the oil change on it. Keep the gear oil changed GY6 150 cc average is 55 to 60 mph and if you want to go faster, maybe move up to 250 cc or more

171cc big bore kit / final gear upgrade tranny upgrade (polini or malossi, the valve adjustment every 2000 miles and a engine breather kit, (releases the extra crankcase pressure) KEVLAR belt and 65-70 mph no problem with low rpm
