Thanks man. This my first year of track and my calf’s just need to get use to the running and build shape. The shin splints and calf spasms have been bad, but I’ve kinda just iced them down and taken an ice bath. I sometimes eat healthy, but it’s mostly up to whatever’s up for dinner. So I really can’t control my parents spending so much any information is very nice. 👍

Fats before you workout is actually not a great idea because fats have slower digestion and you may not have enough time to digest the most important nutrient before you workout : carbohydrates. a little bit of fat is ok but minimize it before you workout mostly carbs and some protein.
Edit: I should’ve said fats are actually good if you eat them far out before your activity so you can digest them if you are running or doing an activity for an extended period of time, but before an hour lifting session or something like that, fats are not on the priority list.

How to eat soup:

1. Use a spoon
2. Eat it with your mouth
3. If you don’t want to eat soup, then eat it tomorrow

FYI: if the budget is low, you can buy blueberry extract. It is so much cheaper and has almost the same benefits:)

Actually, i tend to not eat after workouts for 1-2 hours because it releases more growth hormone which helps with recovery. Been doing it for some time and its working pretty well.
