This actually helps a lot I used to workout at home and cuz I had a small room I had to move things around to make space and it was always long, so I made a system where I had my equipment already in place and just move the couch. I love working out but it was always the process of starting the workout what was holding me back.

I'll make it out of bed 99 percent of the time, but sometimes I'll make it to the couch for a 15 minute nap. 15 minutes becomes an hour very easily.

I love it when people paraphrase "Atomic Habits". Everything you said and everything written is and should be common sense, but we somehow don't apply the rules of creating good habits and breaking bad habits.

Ehh doesn't really make sense. U still would have to pack your bag to go to the gym even if u don't want to do it. To build good habits, it's more about seeing the value and positives in having that habit, like recognising that working out makes u feel better and healthier, while eating junk food makes u feel shit. That is what actually causes change, it's a mindset change not just some gimmicky friction stuff
