Deborah Roberts sits down with Gypsy Rose Blanchard who talks about her freedom after serving nearly nine years in prison for the murder of her mother who she alleged abused her.

After everything she has been through since a child.. she became to be an intelligent, well-spoken and emotional stable person. We can’t judge her past cause she didn’t know better after having a sick life. You can tell how she expresses herself, her body language and how she doesn’t have any problem to express her past, feelings that she did overcome her mistakes and become a good human being.. she didn’t have that choice before. Good for her, she deserves to have a chance to experience what is a normal life. 👏🏼

I won’t lie, I was skeptical about her release because I did not know WHO she was. However, after watching this interview, she has grown so much and she looks amazing. She holds herself well and conveys herself well. It’s like she wasn’t even in prison. Her husband sees like a great dude and you can tell that they really love each other. It’s really impressive and I’m very very happy for her.

She was severely emotionally and psychologically abused by her mother. She appears to be so clear-headed and healed. I wish her the best.

The fact that her ex boyfriend, who was manipulated, try to saved her from her mothers abused… etc. Have to be in prison for the rest of his life and she got out after only 8 years, got married and have a “celebrity new life”, speaks volumes to me. Why she got out after 8 yrs and the guy is rotting in jail… why!!!!? There’s no justice, she got her problem resolved, spend couple of years in prison and got a “new opportunity” in life … but; what about him!? We will never know the truth, none of us was there and I feel, she participated 50/50.

Her story makes me so sad; I get choked up when I hear her talk about the things she went through. I feel bad for her that she had go through everything she did. I give it to her that she knows what her and Nick did was wrong and that she felt it was her only way out. It's just horrible that she had to suffer at the hands of her mother's mental illness. She is lucky to be alive though, many victims of people with her mother's mental illness don't live to talk about it.

She had her mentally impaired boyfriend kill her mother for her. Her mother was sick and predatory but she acted to kill and now she is free while her now ex is in prison for maybe life. Bro got screwed.

Her mother never left her side once for twenty years and listened to everything she said and watched everything. Her perception of reality was so warped. She’s claiming responsibility and knows what she did was wrong.

Dee dee was a complete monster. What Gypsy did was totally wrong, but dang...removed her salivary glands, teeth, and had a fedding tube installed?! So unreal.
