Pulling your child's organs and teeth out for no reason is a different kind of crazy.

I’m shocked by her emotional intelligence and how well spoken she is. This girl survived a life that would break most people. I hope she continues to heal & work on herself.

I’m still confused as to how a person convinced MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS of these illnesses. You can’t just tell a doctor “we need a surgery” without them running tests to prove there is need.

Whoever was her therapist while she was in prison was doing the Lord’s work. What a well spoken and well adjusted woman (especially considering everything).

As a child of EMOTIONAL abuse by an incredibly intelligent narcissist masquerading as a mother, I don't love the question of whether Gypsy Rose misses her mother. Her mother was a monster. My mother is a monster. The best days of my life are the past six years when I stopped all contact. No - I DO NOT miss the woman who says she's my mother. A mother is someone who nurtures you. You lose that title when you try to harm your child.

She should sue the doctors and hospitals that treated her

I grew up in a violent home with a manipulative mother and most people will never believe how many people look the other way. Teachers, neighbors, family members, medical staff can be manipulated too and people push down their suspicions and don't won't to get involved. My childhood was literal prison. I feel so much joy seeing this young woman get a second chance and my heart is so full because she is being embraced with love and respect from anyone who hears her story.

"But she was my mom, and I miss her." Many people that have gone through emotional or physical abuse by their own parents can never fully resent them and it such a sad thing, I watched an old video of her mother, the way she spoke made sense of how many people believed. Mothers, fathers, they will never be fully hated just because of their own title and relation, all the best to this woman!

She’s very well spoken, and I found it surprising since she was basically made to watch cartoons and Disney movies all day for 24 years and treated like a child, the effort she’s made to reinvent herself isn’t going unnoticed, extremely proud of her and I hope the best for her truly.

Whoever was her therapist through all of this did a really great job, one can't simply recover from it all but she seems like she is in a healthy mental space to approach life. Sending a big thank you to all support workers out there.

Im conflicted about this entire thing especially her basically saying she can't think about nick and she did her time and now he is doing his. That bothers me. She admitted on the stand it was HER idea and she talked him into doing it FOR her. He will never be free again. Its not like he can finish his time and then start his life. His entire life will be spent in jail until he dies. I don't understand how she seems so non chalant about what happens to him. I honestly dont judge her for doing what she felt she had to to escape the abuse i just dont understand someone else's life is permanently ruined to and she doesn't seem to care

It’s crazy to me how good she is at interviews like this. You’d swear she has been doing this for years but obviously hasn’t. Her body language, mannerisms and speech are perfect.

as an adult survivor of child abuse... i don't miss my mom but i miss the concept of what my mom could have or should have been. i miss a childhood i never got to experience and i miss a woman who could have provided that. that's what i miss. a mom that never was from a woman that could have been

I wish nothing but wealth and healing for Gypsy Rose. What her mom did to her is just beyond inhuman.

Although I feel sorry for Gypsy Rose, I can’t help but feel a sense of unfairness that her boyfriend got life because of what she put him up to

People think she is an angel. She is not… this wil have a dark twist. 23 years with her mum has, unfortunatly, done a lot of harm and you all eating it like a cindarella story.

Nearly everyone who has an abusive parent wishes they would stop doing bad things and just love them.

This girl deserves a second chance. I hope she can enjoy life, and move on from this horrific past.

I understand from experience all her emotions. But for her to say she can’t worry about the boy that helped her do this is just heart breaking. He didn’t have an opportunity of a good life just like her. She should do everything in her power to fight his release. It’s not fair to him nor his family that he messed up his whole life on the day he met this girl. 💔

I truly hope the young man gets out too. He had mental health issues and should’ve never been sent to prison but to a mental health facility.
