Currently still incarcerated, Gypsy’s shocking story has been told by many others but now, as she approaches her release in December, she is finally ready to tell her truth before she becomes a free woman for the first time in her life.

her stepmother is a fabulous woman. at no time did she EVER have to accept Gypsy the way she has, especially now. Seeing her get emotional over her is very heartwarming.

The way her dad said "its like im having a new baby" touched my heart. I hope her husband treats her right, her family continues to support her, and that the rest of her life is joyous and productive. Youre very loved, Gypsy, and im so glad you're finally fully free.

I cried when she said “it’s so weird being in a car” 😭 that poor girl deserved this freedom 8 years ago. She’s already been through enough.

Her step mother is a great woman. She’s excepted her with open arms and is so supportive.

Gypsy has a really good stepmom. It’s rare to see, but you can tell this lady genuinely cares for her.

People blaming her and defending her mother saying "two wrongs doesn't make it right", listen, it doesn't apply on Self defense...and what she did was self defense💅

It broke my heart to hear her say “I don’t feel free right now.” She deserves to be able to just live her life in peace.

To those defending her mother and trying to make Gypsy the bad guy: please stop. It's inhuman. This woman is a survivor and her case is high profile which is why she is "famous"; don't use this against her or complain about said fame by going to her socials and playing dumb about the horror she endured. It's abundantly clear that people will be awful on the internet, even to a survivor of well-documented torture who also did prison time against the desire of the jury. Keep your heads on straight and remember that Dee Dee was the perpetrator, and MS by proxy is child abuse and comorbid with ASPD (with psychopathy). This isn't "mental illness" in any excusable way, but a manifestation of having no empathy or conscience.

Look at her she can’t even be happy to be out of jprisom she has a temper tantrum because Missouri doesn’t want her in their state for a reason !!! You are still on probation !!! Follow the orders !! Like an adult !!!! You’re not 10 yrs old anymore !!! Even though you pretended to be for all your life !!!!

I can’t fathom how strong she is, she lost her mom which I’m sure she loved and the how she seemed to have moved forward like nothing happened, I know 10 years, but still, some people never get past trauma, I’m glad she realized the value of her life and decided to live it the best way she knows.

I don’t think she understood that she isn’t free till she finishes parole. That must not have been explained very well to her.

OMG I broke out crying when she went with her step mom in the room worried she might be taken back and saying sorry.

If you truly know her story, the empathy and love her step mama shows it's like she's taking care of her own daughter and that comfort she gave Gypsy was of a true mother. Gypsy still needs to deal with so much more and I pray she has that will and power to overcome everything in a positive manner and that she keeps on learning and maturing the way she has.

seeing her crying and shaking like that at the end broke my heart☹️🥺🥺 this poor girl has been through so much her entire life and they can’t even let her enjoy 3 days with her family for basically the first time?? JUST 3 DAYS☹️ she said they were leaving on the first so what was the problem?? i hope they were able to stay that’s just ridiculous. she’s not even a criminal let the poor girl spend time with her family :(

Watched this video a second time and cried a lot. Trauma has a lot of layers from what I’m learning. She has come so far but has so much more work to do. The panic attacks and her reaction is all apart of it but hopefully she has the will to get through
