She didn’t have a lot of medical problems. She had an abusive mother. I can’t believe that none of the doctors caught on. There should be some lawsuits here.

I can't believe that there were so many doctors that did all the procedures, operations and prescribed ao many medications to a healthy person!!! How did none of them figure out that everything that the mother said was not true! How was Gypsy even fitted with a feeding tube without having a real diagnosis to justify it? It's remarkable that Gypsy isn't a complete blithering pile of mental illness at this point. Yes, she did a bad thing, but plenty of people have done horrible things who grew up in good families. She was completely handicapped by horrendous gaslighting and abuse and let'snot forget she was a CHILD. I'm happy she is free of her mother and wish her the best.

If I would have been her lawyer, I would have argued her behavior was the same as battered wives syndrome. Due to the intense mental & physical abuse, I was very surprised she didn't get a lesser sentence. Not only that, she belonged in a secured mental health facility....not prison.

I grew up with a similar mother. I was born a micropremie and that was her in to claim all kinds of things about me. Growing up she told me I had so many things wrong with me, while ignoring legit health issues I had. I appreciate how hard it is to break the cycle when you live in an environment where not only is lying normal, your parent is trying to get you to lie for them.

Gypsy never got a chance to be a real person till now. All she ever new of her "self" was the facade of lies built by her twisted mother.
