Bro, I never expected you to actually cover the OG jedi beginnings, you are tops among star wars people

As long as someone tells the story of the Je''daii order, their ways will never be forgotten. There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no fear; there is power.
I am the heart of the Force.
I am the revealing fire of light.
I am the mystery of darkness
In balance with chaos and harmony,
Immortal in the Force. The Je'daii Code

To have balance, one must understand both sides of the force. To truly be complete.

The "Grey" Jedi were the ones who DID get it right; for TRUE balance, you HAVE to acknowledge and learn to harness both the light and the dark. I think Qui-Gon had this mind set

Thanks, I knew from reading various Star War novels about how the original Jedaii used both Ashla and Bogan ( sorry if the sp. is wrong!). I remember reading that while they recognized a balance between the two sides, if one indulged in too much time only on the “dark side”;one was required to: go on a retreat to meditate and reawaken the balance, and that separation was necessary in order to harm others while rebalancing. The two sides of Jedi and Sith actually “got it wrong!“. That is why so many truly powerful Jedi fell to the dark side, because no one showed them how to integrate, carefully align, and keep in balance the power of Bogan with the righteous protection of Ashla. If the ancient Jedaii were right, then we really need stories just about, them, as well as perhaps a new series of how future Jedi and Sith find their way back to a unified Jedaii Order!

When the final trilogy was announced, I was hoping that they were going to go down that line of story. It would have been interesting to show that the power of the Sith is from being outnumbered by the Jedi, and that the force seeks balance. It would have been very interesting to see that the Jedi had to return to the old ways to end the conflict and bring balance.

I agree with the Jedaii as they were closer to the bendu after the force wars the Jedi turned exclusively to Ashla but this seems to be out of fear of coming even close to the dark side in any way this caused the Imbalance that was Jedi and Sith that led to countless wars and the Jedi purges the fall of more than one Republic.
Following the end of the Empire and the final end of Sith the opportunity there was to return to the balance between the darkness and the light.

Id love a story about how corucant became a city planet and how it went from the home of that galaxy's humans to every alien in the galaxy living there along with the invention of the light sabers

Now that would be a great origin movie. Although it would probably require 3 movies to tell the whole story.

Knowing this was all uncanonized with Disney I was so excited when in Rogue One we finally hear the term "whills" and see an ancient tample on a planet named Jeddha! I thought - finally some clues to the new canon jedi order and this will be a great bread crumb laying so that future stories can explore the planet or go back in time and explain it's origins and mysteries and what happened? It got blown up, I was severely bummed by that... and also Jen and Ando dying, but mostly Jeddha lol

I think one of the best parts of your content is that despite being detailed and complete you leave enough out that reading the source materials is still enjoyable

A Fair Deal of People: "Grey Jedi arent a thing!"
The Je'Daii Order: "Yeah....about that..."

They were what we call grey Jedi. Finding balance in the force. They alchemy between the sword and crystal is bad ass.

I’d love to see a spin off of someone or a fringe group of jedii that practiced both sides come about in the cannon. I feel like they’d be super powerful

I first heard of the Je'Daii through the book titled Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void following the Je'Daii Ranger Lenora Brock as she was tasked with stopping her brother from committing an act that could destroyed the Tython system.

Edit: I just noticed that autocorrect had changed Lenora to Laborer without my knowledge.

This is true balance because neither the Jedi or the Sith are correct, the Je'daii are the true corrected choice here. While it is true that the whole Gray Jedi remained just as a concept, the ancient Je'daii Order is what can be truly considered as gray because they use both the light and the dark and also do not attach themselves to politics.
