The idea behind the Inquisitorius Program was actually quite ingenious. Corrupt surviving Jedi, train them in the Darkside and set them lose to kill other Jedi. If they succeed then that is one less Jedi in the Galaxy, if they fail then that is still one less Jedi in the galaxy and one slot which could be filled by another Jedi survivor. Essentially palpatine turned the Jedi survivors against each other, while he and Vader rule the galaxy.

This makes the idea of inquisitors “hunting down” Kenobi even more hilarious than it was beforehand.

I loved the bait and switch of this fight. The Inquisitor was so intimidating, you definitely expected more of a tense melee, but this was just so perfectly badass and unexpected in the best way.

Turning off your opponents own lightsaber is said to be the highest insult you can give. There is no clearer method of showing your opponent that they are completely outclassed. And Ahsoka has done it twice now.

I can’t believe how much she outclassed him.
She didn’t even bother to take out her own light saber. She just took his away and used it on him.
I do like her trick where she turns off the other person’s light saber on them.

I know you can’t technically see the inquisitors face, but the look on his face when ahsoka grabs his hilt is priceless

Also worthy of note...the Ahsoka we saw in Clone Wars enjoyed the fight - she had fun when the sabers came out. This is the jaded, cynical Ahsoka - ruthlessly efficient, with a total lack of anything resembling respect for the Inquisitors. They're not worth her time, and she shows it.

This has the same energy as the Maul/Obi fight in Rebels. Both are now two of my favorite Star Wars fights ever. There's something so powerful about the way in which both Ahsoka and Obi-Wan resolve both duels without even as much as hesitation. The Inquisitor design though? Actually scary, much more even than the Grand Inquisitor. That said, he never stood a chance. Who's Ahsoka Tano? Veteran of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker's apprentice, fought and learned with the likes of Masters Yoda, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu and Ploo-Koon, served alongside with the 501st, defeated Maul in single combat... what did this guy think was gonna happen?
