Besides being prodigies, I believe Ani, Snips, and Obi (not really a prodigy I guess) were so strong, because they faced Darksiders regularly. A rare occurrence for Jedi.

Were the Shadows so paranoid that they sensed the dark side where it was not, or were they paranoid because they sensed it even when its influence was being repressed and were not taught to cope with it existing and possibly influencing even when it wasn't desired or drawn on?

This is the first video I've watched on this channel and all it did was remind me that the movie universe continues to make shit, despite have a MASSIVE amount of lore to pull from. Great video! I never even heard of the sentinels or shadows.

I always expected to see a character capable of ussing both the force and the dark side. In star wars it always bothered me how the Jedi spared the life of their enemies, even if killing them would do alot more good, so watching a character who isn't evil but also is not liminted by the Jedi ways would be something cool to see. I'd really like to see one as a protagonist in a movie, or series, like an anti-heroe type.

I would also say they could fall to the dark side. We have seen it with Set Harth in the Darth Bane: Dynasty of Evil novel. It wasn't stated he was a Jedi Shadow, but the way his role was described it fills the bill.

i would love to see these jedi get some serious screen time. might make for some great shows or movies. i think the blending of light and dark is why revan remains so appealing to so many people

I want to see a video explaining what the Sentinels were doing during the Clone Wars, how many survived Order 66, how many if any made contact with Yoda or Obi post Order 66, and did any survive the times of the Empire and got to meet Luke. Logically, some should have survived and I'm surprised that they never made an appearance in the Clone Wars or Rebels.

I think a tv show or movie with a jedi sentinel as the central character would be cool since it changes view points of how a jedi sees the galaxy and isnt following a pro force using character in his/her travels in the galaxy

Maybe Qui-Gon would've trained Anakin as a Sentinel and later becoming a Shadow. He's have a purple lightsaber (or two) and be able to wield the power of the Dark Side in order to be better prepared for Palpatine.

Yes, I would love to see the Jedi Shadows on the big screen, of course I want to see them talk about how the Jedi high council were naive and misguided, that the rise of the Galactic Empire was entirely their fault. I believe that the Jedi Shadows most likely foresaw what would happen, Palpatine taking control of the senate, revealing himself as a Sith Lord and the rise of the empire. If the Jedi order were more like the Shadows then Sidious would've been dealt with long before Order 66 ever happened.

Jedi Shadows are my favorite Jedi class and even as far back as KOTOR 1 I've always been drawn to the Jedi Sentinels. I've said it before but Jedi Shadows have incredibly untapped potential for really good storytelling in say a game, TV show or book. In fact in SWTOR out of the Jedi Storylines the Shadow is my favorite cause I love a good mystery.

I would love a series on a very powerful Shadow (Sentinel) Jedi. Boy, Disney has so many ways to go with Star Wars. They won't run out of ideas for hundreds of years.
