I’ve only tried Quizlet, Tandem and HelloTalk but I’ll check out other apps too. I love comprehensible input, your and Dreaming Spanish channel are my favourite:) funny story - I was reading Caperucita Roja with a friend who is also learning Spanish and she said ‘omg you sound exactly like Laura on yt, your pronunciation is so much better than mine now’ 😂 thank you for your videos

Your videos are fantastic. Please keep making more common Spanish words/phrases videos! Also, I really enjoyed the vocabulary in context videos and your story time videos. When you explain an unknown word by drawing pictures or acting it out, it really really helps. Thank you for all that you do <3

¡Hola Laura! Soy muy fan de su canal, lo descubrí hace más que un año y era el primero en YouTube que usé para mejorar mi español. A mí también me encanta Quizlet aunque me parece funcionar mejor para los principiantes ya que se suele usar con traducciones directas (por ejemplo comer--to eat). Es bastante difícil poner definiciones largas para recordar los significados en el contexto del lenguaje estudiado. Muchísimas gracias por su contenido, es fantástico.

Perfect timing! I’m still very much a beginner (after a year) and need some ways to advance. Thank you as always, Laura.❤️

Resources for Spanish: BBC mi vida loca interractive course learning. BBC mundo for news. Netflix films/series. Duolingo. Music. Radio stations.

Mindset: Force yourself to only speak in the language that you are learning. Don't be shy to make mistakes. Repeat everything and just go for it. Surround yourself with native speakers of the desired language. Meet up for language swops. Book holidays to a country with the language that you're trying to learn. Be sure to stay in a non touristic area in that country and socialise with the locals.

Está súper padre que hayan estos vídeos, yo empecé a estudiar idiomas cuando tenía 20 años, hace 8 años ya. Honestamente me hubiera ahorrado muchos problemas si alguien me hubiera dicho algunos consejos. Hoy en mi cuarta lengua he aprendido muchísimas cosas y he creado lo que a mí me funciona pero sigue siendo todo un viaje.
