1. Eat more food, especially protein.
2. Drink more water (minimum of half your body weight in ounces of water). Also drink water before meals.
3. Do weight training to build muscle. HIIT and strength training.
4. Get enough sleep (minimum of 7 hrs)
5. Move around throughout the day.

Thanks, doc.

The only thing I completely disagree with is the amount of water recommended to drink. When you drink too much water your body also passes out a lot of electrolytes which is not replaced will result in a feeling of low energy. Your cells can only take in so much water and most of the excess is just going to pass out again so you will be constantly just running to the toilet. I think it's more important to keep your bodys salt and electrolytes up and just drink what your body needs. How do you know how much it needs? It will tell you!! It's called thirst. That's why when you exercise you get thirsty, your body tells you, hey how about some water. You will notice after a glass of water your body will not keep sending thirst signals because it is smart and knows it does not need it. If you continue to train your body will keep giving you thirst for water because it does use it when doing physical exercise. If someone is sedentary they need hardly any water. So my advice for what it's worth is drink when you are thirsty. Your body is very smart and will tell you when exactly to drink and how much to drink.

I’m doing all these things and I’m still struggling to loose weight. I get enough sleep. I drink almost 1/2 my body weight in water. I increased my protein. I get 10, 000 or more steps a day. Help! What is wrong with me.

Very informative video. I'm going to increase my protein intake and add HIIT. My metabolism started to slow down for the first time after I turned 57.

Can you help me? I have had anorexia nervosa for 28 years and I'm 41 yo. I've lived on a very low calorie diet, 1, 200 a day. I am desperate to boost it so I can eat more. I already weight train most days for 45 minutes as well as do 2 hrs of cardio daily. I already sleep well, but I could drink more water. I don't know what I should do apart from these things I'm already doing to boost my metabolism. Please help me. I'm on your waitlist.
