I have a personality disorder diagnosis and... it's not easy to deal with.... More of it's not easy to deal with the mindset that it is.

I have schizophrenia and thank you for explaining it nicely cause alot of people really misunderstands schizophrenia. Over the course of my life, I've always been put down because people were scared of me. I hope that people will see the true nature of the disorder, and thank you for reading my comment.

Anxiety and Depression are what I have and affect my life a lot. Unfortunately, it hasn’t got better since I’m in a controlling relationship and I just graduated college with no idea what to do for work. My acne has gotten really bad because of everything going on and I am still underweight even though I eat fine. I wish there were more resources for young adults struggling with mental illness, learning disabilities, and being independent

Depression and anxiety are those who affect my life a lot. Sometimes, it feels like I'm nothing and very sad. Also, I'm suffering from Insomnia and backpain as mentioned in the video.

I have had eating disorder most of my adult life. Not eating, over eating and laxative abuse. Feelings of nothing will ever change no matter what I do. Anger, feeling of being trapped in a situation, feelings of being worthless, or feelings nothing will never change no matter how hard I try. I have finally decided that it is what is and it will never change. Money issues I am self employed but feel people do not pay me what I am worth. I pet sit and clean houses, ECT. The people I work for have the money but do not pay me much. If I say anything they get upset. So because I need the money I continue to stay working there. I wish I could walk away and disappear.

I'm disappointed you didn't mention interpersonal trauma and CPTSD. It could have been easy to put under PTSD. The problem with CPTSD is that the symptoms are very different and such trauma can be sustained for so long, often from family, spoudes, partners (often with personality disorders), and we can't escape, breeds a profound sense of unsafety, and o ften anxiety and depritession, with disassociation. Unfortunately the DSM V doesn't formally recognize it, but let me tel you it is 100% real, and sufferers often are never able to fully escape this trauma and its triggers. I've been treated by the best and brightest for many years, and even though I can usually keep it at bay, it does rear its ugly head. I believe many more people have this condition than what is realized and the lack of understanding of this condition keeps us totally isolated. I would rather be by myself, and to avoid triggers and explaining certain behaviors. And it's so sad, because I am the most social person on earth and I love people. But it took one very sinister one to come into my life and force be to live under his reign of terror about 10 years ago to cause this condition. I've since experienced a number of other traumas, and I feel like I've turned from a socialite to a total recluse. We desperately need more awareness of the condition. A lot of people talk about narcissists and narcissistic abuse- which captures some of this. But being raised by a parent with a PD, having one sibling with a PD who refuses to speak with me, and a former spouse with ASPD who set out to ruin me, has left me very isolated. And this is exactly also what these people try to do to control you. I didn't know a thing about personality disorders and while there were really no red flags about my ex, I initially learned that my childhood was more f***ed up than what I was consistently gaslit to believe. One of the best things is for people with CPTSD to be understood. We've been through so much, and most people would never know....

Ive been in medication for some time now. Im grateful for the newer drugs available like celexa and Lexipro. I prefer clean drugs. I was diagnosed with seaver depressiin with anxiety disorder, PTSD, suicidal ideatiin and boarderline personality disorder. I dont do wrll with changr so im assuming that would be adjustment disorder. I also believe i may have social anxiety. I developed an eating disorder due to my depreasion, i binge eat when im feeling depressed. I take my medication and never miss taking it.

I don't understand why TDAH isn't in this video
It's a pretty comum mental illness and it's very serious
Most of my maternal family has it, me included
