How Obi-Wan Kenobi EASILY Defeated General Grievous - Star Wars #Shorts

Obi-Wan Kenobi and General Grievous faced off many times during the Clone Wars, culminating in their final meeting in Revenge of the Sith. With each encounter, Kenobi became more familiar with Grievous’s fighting style. Trained by Count Dooku in Makashi, the second form of lightsaber combat, the cyborg continually adapted his moves to keep his Jedi opponents off balance.

But Kenobi was prepared for Grievous, and knew that removing the general’s hands would limit the cyborg’s tricks. It was a dangerous gambit, but one that Kenobi was willing to take in order to end the Clone Wars. But it was Mace Windu’s use of the Force that ultimately gave Kenobi the opening he needed. As Grievous fled Coruscant with Palpatine as his prisoner, the Jedi Master crushed the plates protecting Grievous’ internal organs, weakening the cyborg’s chassis. This allowed Kenobi to easily expose the Separatist general’s living organs for a killing shot.

I don't think Kenobi gets enough credit . He's defeated many that most if not all would find difficult. Like Grievous, Vader twice now and Maul

Point of fact:

Grievous knew all 7 forms of lightsaber combat.

Obi-Wan described fighting him as fighting 4 people at once as each one of Grievous's arms could each do a different form of saber combat.

Kenobi won the fact because his chosen form of saber combat focused on defense, which meant he could absorb the onslaught and simply wait for an opening

Mace windu told him via communicator, "just force crush his chest and organs. Don't mess around with light Saber styles."

Who would think, that cutting off limbs is making your opponent weaker!

"You fool! I have been trained in your jedi arts...by Count Dooku."

"Yeah, I know. We've fought like 10 or 15 times in the last 3 years."

"Oh, yeah. Don't know why I felt the need to say that, then."

Bro could have just got an organ transplant .-. it was such a "meh" death to such a cool character

Kenobi won through sheer plot armor, dude didn't realistically stand a chance against General Grievous

Anyone is wondering. Grievous couldn’t patch up his armor. He lost his factory earlier in the War.

General Grevious should have been introduced at the Battle of Geonosis in Attack of the Clones. He was such a cool character, but had limited screen time in Revenge of the Sith, even though he was playing a major role the war. Clone Wars sorta fixed all that with Grevious, but I think his arc would have seemed smoother had he been introduced earlier.

I love how as the clone wars series, comics, and books expanded Kenobis strategic capacity, he becomes more and more a "drunk master" type- who doesnt look like he has any idea what hes doing- but in truth, figured out how to beat you five steps ago.

So "removing the general's hands" put a crimp in his style, huh? I suppose I could see that as it didn't bode well for Dooku in the following episode either.

During the movie I thought that grievous was a weak cyborg already on his las leg until the clone wars series came along and say “damn he dose not give up easily” a very powerful Jedi hunter to the end.

I love how in tcw show, if someone literally sneezed onto his armour he would get a fill new set. He minda fumbled the bag on his end not chsnging his armour for a few weeks or months whatever

He used a gun. Even Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc...all have used a gun.

Finally someone said it, alot of idiots complain that ”Grievous was nerfed heavily in Revenge of the Sith🤓🤓” yet dont know that his lungs were destroyed. If they watched 2003 clone wars and saw how strong grievous was, it makes no sense that they dont know his lungs got destroyed, which was in the same show
