The reason why Anakin failed to do this to Kenobi was because Kenobi was the master of defense when Dooku was the master of offense.

When Anakin tries to jump over Obi-Wan toward the end of the battle and Obi say ‘Don’t Try It…’ it’s because it’s the same exact move he used against Darth Maul, that’s why he knows how to counter Anakin as well. So many call backs in this series that’s why we love it 💯💯💯 err loved it 😅

Bruh that swing and grunt from Ewan McGregor was powerful and so believable. The cinematography in RoTs during fights is outrageously great.

Count Dooku may have been one of the most sympathetic villain characters in Star Wars, once you learn his backstory. Hes like the hero who has lived long enough to see himself become the villain.

Obi-Wan almost PUNISHED the shit out of that grab attempt

Anakin trying to cut off Obi Wan's hands and obi wan trying to cut him in half immediately after just shows that this movie is way darker than we remember

This and the fact Obi-Wan learned to defend against what he did to Darth Maul in the 'High Ground' scene shows that he learns and adapts from every fight and that he basically keeps a mental record of the fighting styles of everyone he has encountered.

Obi-Wan is an experienced Jedi whose favored style is all about staying on the defense until the enemy makes a mistake.
