Показать описание
How to land the big client during the first meeting. Overcome objections during sales cycle. How To Sell Big Digital Projects.

Jose and Chris switch things up and do a little role playing. Jose is the client (a billion dollar manufacturer of bags, luggage and accessories) while Chris is the design agency but doesn't have the technical portfolio that the client needs.

Watch how they do the client/agency dance and work past objections in the sales cycle. Was Chris able to overcome Jose's concerns?

I have been following your chanel for awhile and I am really glad to find you! All of your videos have been helping me to get some self-improvement from how I talk to potential clients now compared to when I just started a role as BDR
I have 2 question:
1. at the early age, how can anyone know about you? Were you "fishing them" by sending cold emails or through networking events?
2. Is there any clients choose you even though they have worked with some other agencies/ companies already? Those clients are happy with the services of the current guys but they still want to seek out to you to see if you can give them more ( REVENUE/ SALES)

Thank you

What a fantastic conversation on how to tackle new clients. Both Chris and Jose were very specific and to the point about the issues and concerns from both the client and agency end. Seriously, I learned so many things from this. Big love for you guys, really appreciate you guys for taking on everyday brand problems and giving us your valuable perspectives.

Fantastic! One place I would love clarification:

Chris, When Jill said that she doesn't know the budget 'but they spent $1.5 mil last time' are you immediately positioning your pricing around that figure? Is that why 250-500 feels so low to you? Thank you!!

Great video. Quick question. How much do you think a corporate company like a capital investment firm would expect to pay for a website? I am considering reaching out to some in the U.S but have no idea how much I should charge.

I have this problem with a client where she asks a designer for a rate in logo design and gives a very very low rate, like $100, not joking. And client is very confused why I rate it that way. How can I reply to this situation?

Hi Jose and Chris, my name is Asmar Hussain I mainly do games development and also a student at Bradford College. I feel that if you could shine a little light on " how to make a first impression when meeting your first client - For beginners". If that's ok with you. Maybe you could do a video on it.

You have started by knowing the client's problem already.
In fact, in trying to sell a client, the most difficult thing to do is to identify the client's problem because they won't bother talking to random designers/sales people about their problems.

All of the episodes and roleplays I have seen about first meetings are about companies who need a re-branding. Have you done anything about start-ups?

Thanks for the video guys, that was a very enjoyable one! Really interesting to hear you role play this scenario. I am interested in knowing more about going for and managing jobs that go beyond my own skillset. The idea of being able to bring on board people with the correct skills to specific jobs, so freelancers working with freelancers to accomplish something bigger than is possible alone. And then how do you confidently have that discussion with a client!
