We've all found ourselves in meetings that seem like they were not the most productive use of our time. We brought together some of New York's finest comedians to show what it really means when people use such common phrases as, "Will it scale?" and, "This may be a terrible idea." Enjoy!

"This meeting could have just been an email, but I'm very lonely." 😂

I'm a fly on the wall at work meetings.
Understanding the professional ego is exactly what's allowed me to slip by so easily while doing very little work.
Make them feel good by defering to their dumb ideas and they'll never question your work ethic.
Challenge them or make them feel stupid, and they'll put you under a microscope that you'll have to work your ass off to get out of.
Most jobs are not worth the battle. Certainly not mine

This is spot on, would it be possible to use this video as part of a recording of a training Zoom webinar on inclusive communication meetings? It would only internal for people in my organisation to see on the intranet and absolutely not for commercial purposes.

I don't think I've ever been in a meeting that couldn't have been condensed into a 3-4 paragraph email. So much time completely wasted on outdated structures...

If I had a job which had these pathetic meetings I would LEAVE THE JOB IMMEDIATELY

So fun! Do you have a "clean" version of this (ie "jerk" instead of "dick") because I'd love to share this in my office!

I guess I'm the stupid question person, because I am sometimes thinking it's a perfectly reasonable question, however if I'm wrong and it's something I should know it's still not "stupid" so I probably should stop saying that.
