@LawyerYouKnow the judge comment “I know this is hard” was because someone in the gallery was crying really hard, I was live-streaming and it’s easier to hear the crying with headphones on. I’m a triplet mom like Ethan’s mom…this whole situation is just so heartbreaking 💔💔💔💔

If you want a real insightful experience, don't watch all the news and speculation pretrial, rather only watch court hearings and the case being presented. It's very interesting and a learning experience.

I really have to see evidence. I think there is more to this case. If someone in this house where there were 4 killings as bloody as those were there would be blood on the doors and the roommate said she only remembers seeing only bushy eyebrows. Nothing about blood all over him. The roommate s didn't call 911 they heard screams didn't call the cops nor checked on these roommates after the busy eyebrow guy left. The one roommate refused to testify I feel there is much more than this boy to this.

If it were us, we'd be glad that every detail is being explained. Trust that its not boring to the defense.

I've learned so much from this presentation! The average person (I.e. me) has no idea what the implications of speedy trial are, or the reasons for standing silent, and above all the importance of doing everything exactly according to procedure so that the verdict won't be overturned on appeal. I appreciate you taking time as a busy lawyer to educate people on how the justice system works!

To the defendent: "Is this the exact spelling and pronunciation of your name?"

*commences to trip-up the names of every victim*

Sort of inexcusable. Even at college graduation, they have you submit the phonetic pronunciation well in advance if you have a complicated name, so that the presenter can properly identify you.

Just seems sort of disrespectful. If ever I was called to give a speech, I'd go through the text and hone my articulation of troublesome words well in advance...gosh, especially if you're dealing with the names of victims. To some, it may not seem like a big deal; but for the loved ones, it can be quite painful to see your deceased family member reduced to a word salad.

Someone needs to tell the judge that Kaylee’s name is Kaylee, not Kayla.🤦🏻‍♀️Thanks for all your expertise and explanations! Love your channel.😁

This public defender is on her job for real for real!!! All my public defenders were not great and sort of felt like they were just working with the courts… She seems like she is definitely helping Bryan through this process the best she can..

Notice that Ms. Taylor, Bryan Kohberger's attorney stated "at this point" when Judge John Judge specified a specific date. Taylor could later request a change upon motion to the court.

I really enjoy your channel. Thank you for your expertise in explaining law in a manner lay people understand!

I just hope the cops got this right and didn’t just jump on Bryan to get someone, And nothing is botched. Just seems strange the knife sheath that has dna isn’t going to be used now. Why?

Peter, any idea what percentage of grand jury indictment trials result in a guilty verdict? On another note, bless you and thank you for your brilliant explanations of these trials and legal procedures. Fascinating stuff, even for a South African 😊

I was very disturbed that the judge pronounced Kaylee's name wrong. Kayla, instead of Kaylee. He had more than ample time to preread the victims' names correctly.

I don't think he did it. Nobody saw him there. The roommate didn't call anyone for like 10 hours. His DNA is on a knife sheath? Did it get there the night of the murder? How do they know? His cell phone pinged from a tower within 10-15 miles? The entire town isnt even 10-15 miles long. He could have been driving literally anywhere in town. Known party and drug house. Idk seems like he is being scapegoated

I noticed the papers he was holding weren't shaking. I was surprised I thought they would be.
