It was longer than I expected. As much as I find him spine-chillingly repulsive, this is still about a man's life. I'm glad the jury stuck with "presumed innocent" and took their time. It's respectful toward the letter and spirit of the law, which is so much bigger than this little slug of a man.

I think the only one surprised is Telles himself. He truly thought he "narrated" his way out of this.

Once I was on a murder trial jury. Eleven of us agreed. One person was a lunatic who kept us there a second day to, among other things, make us listen to a poem he thought represented the mood of the case.

I like that he was shaking his head... as if completely flabbergasted that sitting there going: "No everyone but me is lying and framing me." is actually going to work...

When your defence is "why would I be so sloppy if I did it? It must be a frame job" you know you did a BAD job trying to get away with it.

This has been a very concise jury. I think they didnt want to have any mistakes to provoke a mistrial. I thank these people

The DNA under Mr. Germans nails should have been enough alone. I was baffled by how long it took but Justice prevailed. Happy for Mr Germans family and friends he didn’t deserve this.

I believe the jury wanted to be convinced. They took their civic duty most seriously.

Interesting thing - the defense attornies didn't come to Robert and pat him on the back or squeeze his shoulder. No contact at all. No whispering into his ear. Nothing.

They took their time and went through all the evidence no way to say they didn’t!
