If it's Boeing, I ain't going.

It is shocking how rapidly Boeing has fallen from being a blue chip industry leader, one of the United States' most prominent international exporters, to a company churning out junk product. It is a national disgrace and im scratching my head wondering how the US Depts of Defense, Commerce and Transportation are sitting around twidling their thumbs.

"...no one becomes an astronaut by accident..."

But they can STOP being an astronaut by accident.

My uncle was offered and astronaut position in the early stages of space flights. He was not interested because it would take so much time away from his research. Dr. Grande is correct that those who become astronauts really really really want to go through whatever it takes to do that job. Bless them and I hope they come back to earth safely!

Loved the painful and icy jab at Boeing who "can't even get the space station destruction contract although they have proven pretty good at destroying things"

"Disconcerting. Mostly because of the dying in space part." 😆 Glad the doctor did not disappoint.

I’m speculating that Dr Grande never sleeps. He’s a content machine. Luv it!

"Ironic that they couldn't get this contract, even though they've proven to be pretty good at destroying things" The deadpan delivery is masterful. 😂

One astronaut once said as he was orbiting around in his lunar module that the thought occurred to him that the module was built by the lowest bidder

The question is not "What went wrong with Boeing Starliner?". The question is: "What went wrong with Boeing?".

I spent a good part of my summers as a child in a box pretending I was in a space craft, but what these astronauts are doing does not sound fun at all.

I'm so gratified to see someone correctly describe the gravitational force that is felt at the station. It's not zero gravity it's a free fall effect. Kudos!

Thanks, Dr Grande. Your analysis is more informative to me than all the news reports I've seen about Boeing Starliner and the astronauts.

I foresee retirement for both Sunny and Butch and then going on to be public speakers to tell us how to be motivated under terrible and unforeseen circumstances.

Thank you, Todd. Kudos to NASA for not risking their return. At 7 years old, the school I attended made a big event out of the Challenger mission... we all gathered in the gymnasium to watch it. The incident shattered the child-like innocence and ignorance of what sort of terrible things happen to people.

I absolutely love Dr. Grandes' dry humor. Haha. How serious he describes the thrusters and then adds "mostly because of the dying in space.part." 😂. Cracks me up

Dr. Grande, can you analyze Boeing whistleblowers? It would be interesting to see what you think of the whole thing

I'm not claustrophobic, but this would turn me into one.
