I'm confused. Are they doing basic tests on a live crew mission? They did not do a lot of small, cheap tests on the ground, before flight? How much more money is all of this going to cost? Sounds backward...

Why are we still having gasket problems? What’s better than Teflon?

What happened to the 45 day deadline. Let's tell the truth, Boeing and NASA?

How much of my tax money went to Starliner? I'd like zero dollars to go to boeing. I don't agree with murder or incompetence.

Seems like you should've understood this before sending up a leaking pod.

HEADLINE: Astronauts stuck in space for 49 days by malfunctioning Boeing spacecraft can’t return home for weeks

QUOTE: Two astronauts stranded in space for 49 days – 41 days longer than their planned mission – because their Boeing-build ride home is full of leaks will have to spend at least a few more weeks aboard the International Space Station, officials said Thursday.

Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams were meant to spend just eight days in space following their launch aboard to Boeing Starliner — the maiden crewed voyage for the spacecraft.

Once in space, astronauts found a series of concerning helium leaks and have been testing whether the ship can be used to return them to Earth. (...)

Okay, since I don't think the people running the ISS need to have the entire recent history of BOEING F*CKUPS re-done, I'll just make the point that ANYONE IN THE US GOVERNMENT WHO CONTRACTS OR SUBCONTRACTS TO BOEING SHOULD BE FIRED. ALL SUCH CONTRACTS SHOULD BE CANCELLED OR SUBJECTED TO EXTREME ON-SITE AUDITING BY QUALIFIED ENGINEERING EXPERTS.

ANYONE IN CONGRESS WHO ENTERTAINS BOEING LOBBYISTS OR THEIR STEALTH SHILLS SHOULD BE SEVERELY REPRIMANDED BY THEIR COLLEAGUES AS WELL AS THE ENTIRE JCS AND ANY AND EVERY OFFICER IN THE USAF and SPACE COMMAND, IN TRIPLICATE, WITH THOSE REPRIMANDS FILED PUBLICLY AND OFFICIALLY AND COPIED TO EVERY NEWS ORG IN THE DAMN COUNTRY.

THIS IS A DAMN DISGRACE.
MY FATHER WOULD HAVE RIPPED NEW *SSH*LES FOR THE PEOPLE RUNNING THIS SH*TSH*W.

<now I know why BOEING is the ONLY aerospace company Dad never worked for... gah>

Doghouses create problems? Why do you need them? Apollo capsules didn’t have but it’s true that they weren’t designed to stay for months in Space. Do ISS thrusters require doghouses to protect them? Do other large sattelites ?

Looks like we will loose couple of astronauts in space

Praying the crew is still safe and will make it home. Call me old-fashioned but I think the work NASA does in space voyage is very important not only to America but to the world. However, if more failures keep happening they’re going to have to send these devices up unmanned. How do we get men on the moon safely in the 1960s yet run into so many problems decades later?

Tessla Craft would probably be more successful on first try.

test for what ? different conditions - wouldn't matter if it worked flawless. This is like grade 4 student explaining why his project isnt finished. Its just stalling while acting like they are working on it.
