As a Tibetan I’m forever thankful to master Thich Nhat. His imprints on this planet is profound. He truly lived by Buddhas teachings. I cry when I hear him.

So grateful for his existence. He is so much within us and amongst us. I have listened to many Buddhist teachers who stray into confusion and fear when teaching. Thay makes it so easy to understand and ingrain into me the teachings of Buddha. Form is emptiness and emptiness is form. I now understand. 🙏

I was just in Hue this summer and happened to visit the temple where he resides... I learned that after visiting there, I certainly wasn't there to hound him or seek autographs. Probably the most profoundly peaceful and powerful place I've ever been to..it was almost overwhelming, and walking back to town afterwards i nearly passed out from feeling and emotion overtaking my body and mind. I don't want to name the temple but you can find out. I mean it was totally random really...there are loads of temples in that area and I just happened to pick that one.

Across the road from the temple is a pond with humongous catfish, carp, arawanna (or similar) and other fish that must have lived there for decades unmolested to grow so big.

Beautiful, pithy, and concise explanation of what emptiness “is, ” and interdependence.

“To protect man, you have to protect animals, vegetables, and minerals.” - Thich Nhat Hanh

It’s nice when you hear a personal philosophy reflected from such a spirit. I’m #vegan for the animals, and for the environment.
