Gochujang ( Korean Chilli Paste) made using Indian ingredients
.
I did a lot research from YouTube and Google and made it using
Rice flour (any rice flour)
A mix for kashmiri and normal chilli powder
Sugar for the sweet taste
Salt
Soy sauce as a replacement of miso
.
Note : let the rice paste cool well before starting the process and store it in an airtight container.

Gochujang 고추장 is a Korean red pepper paste made from fermented soybean, chili powder, glutinous rice, malt powder, and salt. It’s been a staple in Korean cooking for centuries and comes in different levels of heat, from mild to extremely hot.

As most ingredients weren't available I have used substitutes and it turned out almost similar to it

I tried your recipe because every outher recipe had things which i don't have and i really loved it when i saw ur recipe...
I made korean chicken with this sauce and it cane out super tasty!

I use the same ingredients but also add 1 tsp MSG, 1 tsp of black pepper powder, 2/3 Tbs of honey/ corn syrup with suger it taste heaven!!!

I recommend to use kashmiri red mirch/chilli instead of normal red chilli powder because it will give you more bright reddish color that we see in authentic gochujang.😊😊

Hey can you please tell which flour or thing that you kept in water in the starting please I was craving for veg tteokbokki with rice cakes but all the videos required gochujang and I saw your video and you made it easier. And it would be even more easy if you tell the name of the flour or thing as i mentioned.

Something is definitely missing.... Where is the Malted Barley drink? It gives Gochujang that Fermented taste.
