i discovered the green container ssamjang at HMart...I originally intended to dip bbq but i've been using a spoonful of it in any instant noodle pack I have, even the cheapo beef flavor ones from walmart gets leveled up. Nice to know how to use the sauces now.

Ah thank you so much! Ever since i got my hands on Gochujang from my local H.E.B and drowning my food with it at the very beginning, i wanted to use different Korean sauces/spices but didn't know what else to grab and i didn't know what sounded good to me. So again thank you so much! Hopefully in my next H.E.B trip, i can get my hands on the pastes you have mentioned :) or go to H Mart!

That's the gochujang I buy! I buy it specifically because it's all in Korean and I don't have to worry about it being gross! Lol

I’m not a fan of spicy things but want to make Tteokbokki, does anyone have any good non-spcy recipes and which paste/sauce would be best? I have Ssamjang at the moment but not tried it yet

Is gochujang halal though? I've always wanted to buy it but I've heard it has gluten and other non-halal ingredients?😅
