Qui-gon is the key to everything. Had he lived, Anakin would've never turned to the dark side.

This really goes to show just how instrumental Qui Gon and Dooku were in the grand scheme of things. If Qui Gon hadn't died, he would've trained Anakin and most likely would've understood him better and kept him from the dark side. Dooku wouldn't have gone to the dark side either due to Qui Gon's death being the final nail in the coffin, but without this happening, Palpatine's plans fell into shambles.

3:47 and 4:10 Qui-Gon would be the perfect teacher for Anakin, aside from Dooku. Both of them saw that the Jedi Order was slowly falling apart from within and ultimately were not following the will of the Force. Qui-Gon and Dooku alike were good Jedi, but weren’t afraid to disobey the Jedi Code when necessary. They were very Grey Jedi, but in a very good way.

if we think about how dooku is extremely good against multiple/multiple weapons opponent, he would have had no problem facing maul, even alone. That is if we consider that his jedi swordsmanship is almost on par with it's sith one.

Huh, I thought Dooku would take more of a role in things. I imagine he would have been helpful in uncovering Palpatine, and fighting against him. But 12 years of Insight and meditation likely helped him a lot.

Great video! There's a what if I've been thinking about for a while: What if Qui Gon and Darth Maul talked? Let me explain: Qui Gon was never too in line with the Jedi order itself, and we know Maul is actually pretty smart, so I think there's a good chance that Maul didn't trust Palpatine and, after sensing Anakin's connection to the force, he could have decided to talk to Qui Gon. This would happen instead of Qui Gon's death and would lead to a very different outcome. What do you think about this scenario?

So basically you have two grey jedis, Obi who thinks the sun shines out of QGJ's arse, and the chosen one who in the main timeline ended up being crushed under the weight of the Jedi's proscriptions.

That sounds like the making of a new school of force users not beholden to the dogmas of either Jedi or Sith

I have one problem with this scenario. Dooku informs the Jedi about Sidious, yet they wait until they're exiled to begin investigating him? Wouldn't they do that immediately?

Dooku: "My beloved apprentice was killed by the Sith! I'd better join them to get revenge on the Jedi!"
Sidious: "Wait, what? I mean, uh, yes! Yes, you should! Those bastards got your apprentice killed!"

Qui-gon truly is the one all be all linchpin of Annie’s fate. Alive he becomes the most powerful Jedi Master to ever live. Dead Annie falls and ends up being responsible for so much death and suffering.
